Reception Areas
Designed to welcome and relax, our reception, customer lounge and waiting areas all have peace and tranquillity in mind. Our highly knowledgeable team of experienced therapists will be on hand to talk you through your chosen treatments and to answer any questions you may have. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment to ensure you have time to meet your therapist, run through any questions you may have and prepare for your treatment.
Treatment Rooms
Designed to ensure you are totally relaxed during your treatment, our therapy rooms include sensual mood lighting and state-of-the-art sound systems. Whatever treatment you opt for you can be assured of a 5 star experience.
Post Treatment
After your treatment or hydrotherapy session, lie back and relax as you take some time out in our relaxation room. Sip a herbal tea or a cool drink, have a snooze or simply sit back and appreciate the peace and quiet after your spa experience.
Loved your treatment? Bring a little of The Merchant spa home with you. Most products used by our therapists are available to purchase in house. Ask your therapist for details.
THERMAL AND HYDROTHERAPY AREA
Our thermal and hydrotherapy area provide extensive ‘hands-off’ therapies to cleanse, rejuvenate and relax the body and mind. The area includes:
Thermal Lounger - The contoured thermal lounger is gently heated for a relaxing and re-energising experience.
Sauna - A traditional wood lined sauna using dry heat generating sweltering temperatures. Such extreme conditions are believed to boost the immune system.
Aroma Steam Room - Combining the effects of warm steam and aromatic essential oils to decongest, clear the mind and purify the body.
Hydro-pool - Relax in the hydro-pool, with shoulder and neck massage jets, relaxing air loungers for body massage and invigorating geysers. The pool offers the perfect environment to relax and rejuvenate.
Drench Showers – Refresh the body under the multi-sensory drench shower.
